Before the Next Step was created by two relationship experts (and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists) who wanted to help answer the question, “are they the one?!?” in a REAL way. With their combined 20 years experience, Rachel & Stacey have developed a course that takes the mystery out of knowing if you should or shouldn’t move forward in your current relationship.

They provide you with the 10 crucial conversations every couple needs to have that will help you determine if your relationship is ready for the next big step!

This course is for you if….

• You’ve ever had doubt or uncertainty about the future of your relationship.
• You and your partner(s) aren’t on the same page when it comes to some major life stuff such as religion, sex, finances, children, etc.
• Tough conversations are uncomfortable or overwhelming…but you know they need to happen!
• You know it would be beneficial to work on your relationship but you or your partner(s) aren’t quite ready for couples or pre-marital therapy.

Q: Do I need to do this with my partner, or can I do it solo?

A: We HIGHLY encourage you to do this with your partner(s). The goal of this course is to understand, together, what areas need to be focused and worked on to get the future you both want.

Q: My partner and I don't live together. Is it too early to do this course?

A: This course is for folks that want to make sure they are as ready as possible for their future together. Whether that means your next step is living together, converting religions, marriage, kids, etc. We guide you through ten of the most important topics every relationship should be discussing before taking that next step...so it's never too early!

Q: What if we can't answer certain questions or have trouble talking about one of the topics?

A: That is EXACTLY what this course is designed to help you navigate. We have scripts, conversation starters, coping skills (to do together and individualy) and so much more. We know this stuff is hard to talk about, that's normal. This course teaches you how to talk about these topics differently so you can hear and see each other where and when it counts.

Q: How long do we have access to this course?

A: You have lifetime access to all of the information within the course and will automatically get any updates we may make along the way!

Q: What if some of the topics or conversations don’t feel relevant to me and my relationship?

A: These ten core conversations cause couples the most issues in the future if they aren’t explored together. We see it in our offices daily and want to help you address these topics in a thoughtful way. With that said, how you choose to use this course is completely up to you. We want you to start with the topics that feel most relevant to your relationship, and if that means you skip 1 or 2, that is your choice! You know your relationship best.

Q: How long does it take to finish the course?

A: That’s the great thing about Before the Next Step, it is self-paced AND you can complete as many or as few of the conversations, relational exercises, etc. as you would like. Each module varies in intensity depending on the relationship, but you can expect to spend an hour to an hour and a half on each topic.

Q: What if we have a question or get stuck along the way?

A: We know how IMPORTANT these conversations are, so we don’t expect you to do this alone! We are available to you multiple times a week in the Q&A section. Ask us your questions and get direct support from us!

Q: Is this course similar to therapy?

While this course contains evidence based interventions and tools, it is NOT therapy nor does it serve as a substitute for therapy.
